Born and raised in Los Angeles to actor parents, Aaron Jennings spent his youth training in theater and consequently fell in love with the stage. In 2013, Jennings appeared in the Los Angeles production of “Elmina’s Kitchen,” for which the cast won the NAACP “Best Ensemble” award. Most recently, he performed in the stage plays “The Whipping Man” and “My Children! My Africa!” in Los Angeles and “Facing Our Truth” at the Kirk Douglas Theatre in Culver City, Calif.

Jennings’ big-screen debut came in 2013 with the Farrelly Brothers’ comedy “Movie 43,” opposite Terence Howard. On television, he guest starred on “Vegas,” on the Network, “Rizzoli & Isles,” “Bones,” “Aquarius” and “Loosely Exactly Nicole.” He had a recurring role on the series “Meet the Browns.”

Jennings actively volunteers in the community and gives back to the homeless. He donates his time to the youth enrichment and empowerment organization A Place Called Home in South Central Los Angeles. Coincidentally, he was volunteering there when he learned he was cast in PURE GENIUS.

He enjoys basketball, hiking, watching art house and blockbuster films, going to museums, seeing comedy shows, enjoying great food with great people, beer and wine tasting, finding new adventures in the city, seeing live music, scouring flea markets, fashion, sneaker collecting and binge watching television on his couch.
