Johyun was not a member of Berry Good when the group made its debut and became a part of the girl group in the year 2016.
Berry Good‘s debut mini-album titled Very Berry was released on April 20, 2016, and it comprised of tracks such as Angel, Because of You, My First Love, and Together. Also, the album was ranked at number #23 in Gaon weekly album chart and at number #46 in Gaon monthly album chart.
Initially, Johyun wanted to make a career as a skater but an injury forced her to change her plans.
She is well-versed in English and has also lived in the United States for 2 years.
