Levi Johnston on whether hes going to manscape, show all for Playgirl shoot

Levi Johnston has a new interview with Star Magazine ahead of his Playgirl shoot, and he gives some kind of bland non-answers to Star’s probing questions. I think Levi is a shy kid who really needs someone to guide him. His interview with Kathy Griffin during her guest hosting stint on Larry King was amusing, but only because Kathy did all the talking. Levi needed to be prompted to say anything and he wasn’t that witty or outgoing. He’s aiming for some sort of media career, and tells Star he’d like to get into acting. Given his personality I think the best he can hope for is to buff up and bare all for Playgirl. He has to trade on his looks now because there’s not much more to say about his ex potential mother-in-law, Sarah Palin, and her obvious ambitions.

Star asks Levi if he’s baring all for Playgirl and he won’t say, and just claims he’ll make the decision at the spur of the moment. Playgirl is now an internet-only publication, having ceased putting out print editions early this year. Judging from their very NSFW website, most all of the guys show frontal and they’re all well endowed as well as super cut. (Body wise, the other cut-wise they feature both kinds. Looking at those gorgeous models, I can see that there’s no way Levi would be in Playgirl if it wasn’t for his minor celebrity status. He’s sure to raise their profile. The question is, what kind of naked profile of Levi will we see?

Have you decided exactly how much you’re going to reveal in the Playgirl shoot? Are we going to see the full Monty?
I don’t know. I’m going to decide that on the fly. I want to keep it classy. I don’t want to do something I’ll regret.

Your trainer, Marvin Jones, tells us that he’s working on your glutes. Is your rear something that we can look forward to seeing?
We’re definitely working on it!

Are you nervous about the shoot?
What’s to be nervous about? I guess some people would be nervous to pose nude, but I’m not. I’m ready to do it. I’m feeling confident. I’ve got nothing to hide.

Are you planning to do any manscaping beforehand, maybe get a spray tan?
You know what I look like. If I got all tanned up, you’d know something was going on! And no – I won’t get waxed. That doesn’t sound like fun to me! It would take a lot of convincing to get me to wax anything. Shaving would work, but I’m not a very hairy guy anyway.

What does Bristol think about you posing for Playgirl?
I don’t know. I haven’t talked with her about any of that stuff.

How are things with the Palin family, Briston and your son, Tripp?
It was going all right. But now it’s getting to be a problem again.

How often do you get to see Tripp?
I haven’t seen him for a couple of weeks, because I was on a long hunting trip in Canada with my father. But I do get to see my son quite a bit…

Are you dating anyone?
No.

Is Bristol?
I’ve heard about it! She has a right to move on. I will check him out, though, if he’s going to be around my kid.

What would your dream job be?
I haven’t thought about it. I don’t know… maybe getting into acting. We’ll see!

It’s like Levi sort-of addresses the questions, but doesn’t really answer them or say anything. He’s an attractive enough All-American type guy, but his personality is such milktoast. Plus “Playgirl” and “classy” don’t really go together at all, not matter how much this guy choses to reveal. Levi isn’t the brightest bulb and he probably thinks he can retain some shred of dignity. If Heidi Montag can earn the cover of Playboy without showing her boobs, Levi can be a featured model in Playgirl just by showing his butt. We’ll just have to wait and see. Levi poses for his spread in early November. He’s been eating moose meat and working out three hours a day, six days a week, to prepare.
